As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, Tigers Brewery is proud to announce the launch of our new Sustainable Brewing Initiative. This comprehensive program includes investments in water recycling systems, energy-efficient brewing equipment, and waste reduction measures. By implementing these changes, we aim to reduce our water usage by 30% and our carbon footprint by 25% over the next three years.

Water Conservation

Brewing is traditionally a water-intensive process. Our new water recycling system will capture, treat, and reuse water from various stages of the brewing process. This closed-loop system will significantly reduce our freshwater consumption while ensuring that all water used in our products maintains our high quality standards.

Energy Efficiency

We have invested in state-of-the-art brewing equipment that requires less energy to operate. Additionally, we are installing solar panels on our facility rooftops, which will generate clean energy to power a portion of our operations. These measures, combined with process optimizations, will substantially reduce our energy consumption and associated carbon emissions.

Waste Reduction

Our new initiative includes a comprehensive waste management program. Spent grain, a byproduct of the brewing process, will be provided to local farmers as animal feed. Other organic waste will be composted and used in our facility’s landscaping. We are also transitioning to more sustainable packaging options and working with suppliers who share our commitment to environmental responsibility.

“Environmental sustainability is not just good for the planet—it’s good for business,” said our Environmental Officer. “By reducing our resource consumption and waste, we’re not only minimizing our environmental impact but also improving our operational efficiency.”

This initiative represents a significant investment in our future and reflects our belief that businesses have a responsibility to operate in an environmentally sustainable manner. We will be sharing regular updates on our progress as we implement these changes over the coming months and years.
